Florence turns green with the FHM University of Applied Sciences

From the 5th to the 6th of July, 2022 the second partner meeting of the CREDinGREEN project took place in Florence, Italy hosted by the Co&So organization. The ERASMUS+ project CREDinGREEN includes partners representing tourism from Portugal, Germany, Austria, Romania and Italy.

At the meeting the partners discussed the finalization of the European wide Survey on the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the tourism sector and the long-term implications of the EU Green Deal policy on businesses in tourism. Partners also discussed the forthcoming development of the CREDinGREEN VET Training program. This training program will be developed by the project team to specifically address the opportunities and demands faced by businesses in tourism, regarding the implementation of the EU Green Deal and its effect of the tourism sector. The training will address required skill sets and support business in adapting to the policy and undertaking positive climate action.
